<p><strong>Jet Lag</strong></p>
<p>I got back a week ago, and jet lag really did me in. I knew from experience that it is easier to adjust when going east to west, and much harder when traveling west to east. But, this time it was so much harder.</p>
<p>First, I didn’t sleep on the plane at all. Then, I stayed up all the next two days so I would sleep at night. That didn’t work out, I ended up sleeping about 8 hours over the next two days. That’s over three and a half days with 8 hours of sleep.</p>
<p>After that I got to the place where I am going to be for awhile I finally remembered that I have supplements for jet lag! I took them and slept 9 hours or so that night. It would have been much better had I taken them a couple of days before leaving. Funny how we humans can know these things and still have a lesson to learn.</p>
<p>The supplements worked great too. They really helped when I went to Bali, and since taking them on my return. I highly recommend this protocol to anyone that has trouble with adjusting to time changes. And yes, it can be used for daylight savings time adjustments.</p>
<p>It’s only two supplements from my favorite company, Standard Process. Cardio Plus, and Cataplex E3, four twice a day with food. I’m not entirely clear on why they work so well for adjusting the biological clock, but they are both for the heart.</p>
<p><strong>Rotator Cuff Video</strong></p>
<p>The rotator cuff adjust video is up at last! I tried several times in Bali, each failed after 30 minutes or so. It sure is great to have bandwidth again. It took less than 5 minutes, and it seems to be working great.</p>

<p><strong>Self Adjustment Technique Videos</strong></p>
<p>Since I now have bandwidth to work with, I’m going to be getting the rest of the adjusting videos uploaded before too long too. I have a few up already, and a few that still need to be edited. But, I am greatly inspired by being able to actually upload video now. Remember, the current price of Self Adjusting Technique includes the videos. The price will be going up after I get everything set up.</p>

<p><strong>Coming Soon</strong></p>
<p>I have an article almost ready about the main cause of sleep problems. Can you guess what it is? I’ll give you a hint: it’s the main theme of this blog, or at least what has become the main theme.</p>
<p>And, I want to find out what your needs are, mostly in terms of your health. Several people have emailed me with some great health related questions. The answers have turned into articles that I post here. But, I’d like to know more, so I’ll be putting out a survey soon. Of course, you can still write or call to ask your questions.</p>
<p>Yoga! One of the things I’m most excited with is getting my yoga site going. I know you didn’t sign up to hear about yoga, but it goes well with back pain relief. I’m not going to be posting much here about the yoga site, but I do want to let you all know about it. And, I will be creating a yoga video for back pain before too long.</p>
<p>I’ve been teaching yoga postures, meditation and philosophy my entire adult life. Yoga brought me up out of a pit that surely would have lead to my death by now had I not found a path of some kind.</p>

It&#8217;s a friend&#8217;s apartment, so of course I wanted to get things cleaned up, I had a bit of experience with water damage when I was working construction. Let me tell you, it&#8217;s no fun. </p>
<p>But, before I tell you what happened and how this relates to back pain and natural healing, let me say that Bali isn&#8217;t quite the romantic wonderful place to live that you might think it is. When people find out I am in Bali for six months they instantly call me lucky. Well, it is a wonderful place with great places to see, and the people are great, but the place does have its problems. </p>
<p>I&#8217;m here working on my back pain stuff because it&#8217;s cheap to live here, especially when I have a good friend with a place I can stay. But, I am here to work, so sight seeing is not what I have been doing. I saw a few sites on previous visits, and honestly it just isn&#8217;t my preference. Don&#8217;t get me wrong, I do find it a beautiful place with the terraced rice fields and adjacent jungle. The rivers and the deep ravines they cut, and the way everything is so green, not to mention the flowers. But, there really is no place like home. </p>
<p>The year before I can to Bali I lived in northern California in the redwoods next to the Russian river. There is no comparison, at least for me, to the beauty of that area and Bali. It&#8217;s just a personal preference. </p>
<p>Another issue I have with Bali is that it is in Indonesia. There are a lot of political problems here that I won&#8217;t go into now. But I will mention the noisy and smoky motorcycles. I ride a &#8220;motor&#8221; myself, it&#8217;s a great way to get around, and a lot safer than riding one in the US because most of the vehicles here are motorcycles, and so it&#8217;s a lot safer. But it really is hard getting behind a smoker which will happen. I should have brought more glutathione precursors. </p>
<p>So I walk into this flood and find the water issue, a burst hose. Turn the water off and get help to clean it up. I worked for a good two hours carrying furniture and very heavy wet rugs out. After the second heavy object I was pleased to notice my back was doing just fine. Amazing considering all the problems I had with it in the past. </p>
<p>I will admit to a slight twinge though. I had suspected my adrenals were down a bit since being out of town was business related and very busy. The stress of missing sleep is probably what weakened them. </p>
<p>But, it was only a very slight twinge that lasted only the few seconds it took to adjust it. Now that most of the mopping with the inherent bending over to wring it out (I&#8217;m tall which makes it even harder), I&#8217;m happy to say that I feel the work I did, just a little tired, but no back pain at all. Pretty good for someone who couldn&#8217;t walk because of back pain at one point, and I just turned 51 to boot. </p>
<p>My adrenals will come back up in a day or so. I have supporting supplements, and a good nights sleep will surely help. </p>

<p>My Bali days are now numbered. I have to return or lose my ticket. There are other reasons to head back to California too, so I&#8217;m off on December 4. I arrive the same day and head to a friend&#8217;s house in Santa Rosa to recover for a couple of days. Then I hope to visit with friends and clients in the Bay Area.</p>
<p>The Self Adjusting Technique eBook should be up and ready for sale in the next day or two. I can&#8217;t figure it out, I have run into a barrier at literally every turn. Maybe I am being tested. Whatever it is though, I have persevered and soon will be working on marketing. It&#8217;s also amazing the amount of support I have gotten for that part of the project. I still have no idea how well it will be received, but I&#8217;ll find out soon. Wish me well!</p>
<p>One recent technical problem was that my website crashed. I am so poor with this technical stuff that it took me twelve hours over two days to get it back up. At least I didn&#8217;t lose everything. That&#8217;s at least part of why I am behind on posting. I hope to have that changed soon too. I have many great articles to write. There is still a technical issue with the site that I may need to hire someone for. Oh well.</p>

Today seemed like a good time since I wasn&#8217;t able to post yesterday because of the poor internet connection here in Bali. I have been here for some time working on a book that I hope to release soon. I have also been learning marketing so I can promote it. One of the things I learned is that Indonesia is at the end of the worlds internet pipeline. It&#8217;s not so bad, there are parts of the world with no internet at all.</p>
<p>I am surprised to find how much I enjoy writing about the natural healing field. The blogging software I am using, WordPress is great as it gives me statistics on everything like what pages are viewed. This way I can determine what people are interested in. The natural healing field is broad, so I&#8217;ll be watching to see what people&#8217;s interest is and focus more on what all of you want.</p>
<p>I also want to start some teaching articles at some point. I have found a large general interest in Applied Kinesiology. This is a broad subject, but basically it uses muscle testing to determine what the client needs, and various manipulations to balance various systems. There are many different kinesiologies that provide a wide variety of healing. This includes different levels of emotional clearing, allergy clearing, hormone balancing, clearing viruses and many more.</p>

<p>Well, I better get to work. I would like to post two articles today to make up for yesterday.</p>
