Diane,
I'm not sure how you got that idea. For one thing, I couldn't control what someone printed out.

My observation of doctors is that traditionally trained US medical doctors do not recognize adrenal fatigue or its symptoms. If they learn anything about holistic healing, then they will readily acknowledge it as do my doctor friends.

I have heard from a number of people who told their doctors of their adrenal symptoms, sometimes 20 or more of the ones listed in this article -- and, I've found more since writing this, and the doctors are stumped as to what to do at all. One comment was, "I just don't know where to start."

So, feel free to report any and all your symptoms to your doctor, but don't be surprised if they don't acknowledge adrenal fatigue.

Daniel,
Lack of sleep is usually from low blood sugar. The adrenals are supposed to kick out a little cortisol to bring the blood sugar up. But, your issues may be due to brain chemistry. Selenium -- about 400 mcg a day, P5P -- enzyme activated B6 and tryptophan may help. But, tryptophan is contraindicated when taking anti-depressants. If you do take tryptophan, a dosage of three to five grams is recommended, and take most if not all of that right before going to bed. Serotonin breaks down into melatonin, so the serotonin also helps sleep.

Pantothenic acid, niacin amide, P5P and vitamin C aid the adrenals, so that may be why it affects your sleep. Take the first two in the morning, 200 mg is the recommended dose though 500 should be ok, in the morning so it doesn't cause lack of sleep.

Also, magnesium at bed time may help you sleep, two to four grams -- too much causes diarrhea.

Mevina,
That massage does sometimes help the neck to adjust, but not all the time at all. I'm glad it did for you. And, the adjustment doesn't always come with a crack. Also, a crack doesn't mean an adjustment happened.

Jennifer,
You may have more going on than adrenal fatigue. Toxicity comes to mind, and there are at least eight different systems that have to do with energy.

The anxiety is likely from brain chemistry, specifically serotonin deficiency. There are many cofactors involved, but the most common ones are: enzyme activated B6 (P5P), tryptophan as well as other B vitamins -- a multiple wouldn't hurt.

Deepak,
I am glad you found some relief.

If your upper back pain is located on one side, then you may have a curve of the spine to that side. Try twisting as strongly as you can, without pain, to that side. The ribs push the spine back in the correct direction.

You might try getting a massage tool that is shaped like a large "S," and using it to give yourself some pressure point massage. And, the ribs could be out of alignment, I cover that in my book "Self Adjusting Technique."

Rachel,
Fibromyalgia is often caused by estrogens not breaking down completely in liver detoxification as discussed in this article: http://selfadjustingtechnique.com/conditions/how-glutathione-cures-fibromyalgia-and-how-to-supplement-for-it/

When there are more hormones, in this case stress hormones, to be broken down by the liver, then the estrogens build up even more.

Lack of sleep is a stressor and so, stress hormones are released. Coffee and alcohol are others stressors that do the same thing.

Without seeing you or getting more information it is hard to say exactly what to do, but here are a couple of possibilities. Instead of B6, take P5P, the enzyme activated form of B6. Add selenium, no more than 400 mcg a day to avoid a toxic overdose, and a gram or so of cysteine, TAS alpha is the best source I've found.

Hi.. I was just wondering if there is any way to get a hard copy version of this book directly from you rather than try to download it from here? I have dial up with a terribly slow connection and have encountered problems before trying similiar downloads. I am interested in purchasing the book but is there anyway to just get it directly from the author without having to download it? Pete
