One thing that most people don’t realize about upper back pain is that what people experience as knots at the top of the shoulders are almost always caused by one or more ribs being out of alignment. What happens is that when a rib goes out of alignment which causes the muscles in the area to tense up into knots.
In fact, the knots are often as hard as they are because they are actually the ribs with tight muscle over them. Adjusting the ribs will quickly reduce any knots and really help to relieve pain.
Have you ever had a massage and still experience tightness or knots at the top of the shoulders? Your massage therapist may have spent a lot of time on the area, but still your pain persists.
If you were able to have those ribs adjusted before getting a massage (or just have a friend or loved one massage the area for a few minutes), the result would be quick relief. Wouldn’t that be great? You do a simple adjustment on yourself and have someone work the area for as little as five or ten minutes and experience complete upper back pain relief.

There are other causes of upper back pain. For example, trigger points can cause a problem. These happen when the connective tissue between the muscles gets pulled around in a way that causes a point of tension. This tension is usually far away from where the pain is felt.
But, this is a different issue that needs another article to fully explain, and a book to teach how to deal with it. Let me know if you’re interested in this subject and I’ll see about writing more about trigger points.
For now, just get the free book! There’s no obligation, and you’ll get the video showing how to do one of the best techniques in the world for relieving upper back pain. It’s quick and painless, and unless you have something serious going on in your upper back, there’s no way to hurt yourself with it. It’s more like a massage than an adjustment.
